Documents German employers often expect beside the CV

Bright office interior with desks prepared for professional work

A polished Lebenslauf rarely travels alone. Many German employers still expect an Anschreiben, and some ask for Zeugnisse, degree certificates, or work samples depending on the field.

Build a complete folder

Keep scanned certificates ready in PDF form with clear file names. If documents are not in German, a short note on whether an official translation exists prevents last-minute confusion.

What language polishing covers

We focus on the prose you control: CV and letter. Certificate text is usually left untouched unless you specifically commission wording for a cover note that explains foreign credentials.

Cross-check the posting for required uploads. Missing a requested Zeugnis can stall a strong linguistic presentation.
